It’s the start of a new year and it may be your child’s first time at child care. Every parent feels apprehensive until they know they have found a place where their child will truly thrive.
As early childhood educators, one of our priorities is to make sure all children feel confident to walk into our centre and see it as their own. We empower our children to express their thoughts and feelings through nurturing and trusting relationships. Hearing what concerns, delights or makes them feel most at home, helps us to create an environment that is responsive to their individual needs and fosters their sense of belonging.
